Mayo County Council invites applications, from suitably qualified persons, who wish to be considered for inclusion on a panel from which future relevant vacancies for Clerical Officer (Grade III) may be filled. The Clerical Officer is the entry-level administrative grade in Local Authorities (LA’s) in the country. As part of the Local Authority’s commitment to provide quality services to citizens, the Clerical Officer will assist in delivering a wide range of services across the organization. Clerical Officers provide a point of contact for customers to carry out their business and access information about the Councils services.

The Horticulturist is responsible for the management and upkeep of Turlough Park, located in Castlebar, County Mayo. This restored Victorian parkland serves as a public amenity and has consistently been recognised with annual Green Flag and Green Heritage Site Awards from An Taisce, reflecting its high standards of care and heritage conservation. Mayo County Council reserves the right to assign the role to any other functional area within its remit, as required.
